VOLUNTARY PRODUCT RECALL NOTICE

Artisan Canna Cigars, LLC is conducting a voluntary recall of one batch of Hi White Trufflez 6-Pack (0.5g) Pre-Rolls after notification from the California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) that the affected batch was found to contain the microbial contaminants Aspergillus terreus and Aspergillus niger.

What Consumers Should Do

Consumers who have purchased the affected product should stop using it immediately.

Please return the affected product to the licensed retailer where it was purchased for appropriate handling and disposition. Consumers should not consume the recalled product.

Consumers can identify the recalled product by checking the product packaging for Batch ID HPRWT311.

Reason for Recall

The California Department of Cannabis Control notified Artisan Canna Cigars, LLC that the affected batch was determined to be adulterated due to the presence of Aspergillus terreus and Aspergillus niger.

Artisan Canna Cigars, LLC is cooperating with the Department and affected licensed retailers to remove the identified batch from the market.

This recall applies specifically to Hi White Trufflez 6-Pack (0.5g) Pre-Rolls, Batch HPRWT311. No other batches are included in this notice unless otherwise identified by the California Department of Cannabis Control.

Notice of Recall: Hi Brand Pre-Rolls

Pursuant to Business and Professions Code (BPC) section 26039.1, Artisan Canna Cigars, LLC is conducting a voluntary recall of two batches of Hi brand pre-rolls due to evidence of microbial contamination (Aspergillus spp.) and product misbranding. This recall is being carried out in response to notification from the California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC).

The DCC has found the following batches to be adulterated and misbranded under BPC sections 26039.6(a)(5) and 26039.5(a)(3) respectively.

Instructions for Retailers and Distributors

• Immediately remove the listed products from shelves and quarantine them for a period of 72 hours.

• After quarantine, affected inventory may be:

  • Returned to Artisan Canna Cigars, LLC for appropriate handling, or

  • Destroyed in place in accordance with CCR Title 4, Sections 15052 and 17226.

Consumer Guidance

Consumers in possession of the affected batches should discontinue use immediately and return the product to the place of purchase or contact Artisan Canna Cigars, LLC for more information on return procedures.
